Capability Statement

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Services Center (ESC) National Wireless Program (NWP) is dedicated to enhancing the administration and cost efficiency of Wireless Communication Services (WCS) and Mobility Technology Equipment (MTE) for federal agencies. According to the Federal Mobility Working Group (FMG), Telecom Expense Management Services (TEMS) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) are critical capabilities for effectively scaling the deployment and management of wireless services and mobility technology, asset inventory management, reporting functionality, and invoicing. NWP provides a centralized structure for delivering TEMS and MaaS, allowing customers to benefit from economies of scale that result in significant cost reductions.

About The National Wireless Program
NWP was founded in 2005 with the goal of streamlining and consolidating 2,600 WCS agreements. As a shared services franchise organization under the FAA, ESC's NWP currently manages an MTE count of 21,000. Today, NWP leverages WCS from AT&T, FirstNet, Verizon, T-Mobile, and GCI (Alaska) and provides full MTE life-cycle management. With nearly two decades of experience, NWP has honed this service and is offering TEMS and MaaS to other federal government agencies. Feds serving Feds.
