Disaster Recovery Consultation, Documentation & Testing

Protect your operations and ensure continuity with our Disaster Recovery consultation, documentation and testing services

The Disaster Recovery Consultation, Documentation, & Testing services are designed to help System Owners ensure their critical systems can continue to function in the event of unexpected disruptions. The services include comprehensive system contingency planning and testing services, which follow the guidelines set forth by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in SP 800-37 and SP 800-53 (as revised). Through these services, System Owners can obtain a customized contingency plan that is tailored to the unique needs and structure of their system. This plan includes identifying critical system components through a Business Impact Analysis (BIA), developing backup and recovery procedures to ensure your system can be recovered reliably in any circumstance, and establishing communication protocols to ensure that stakeholders are informed of any incidents and can take appropriate actions. Through the testing services, functional and/or tabletop exercises are provided to simulate an actual disaster or disruption to the system to see how well the contingency plan performs in a real-world scenario. This type of exercise and the resulting after-action report can help identify any weaknesses or gaps in the plan that need to be addressed before the stakes are much higher. Deliverables include:

  • Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP)
  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • ISCP Training Materials and Exercise Guides (table-top and functional)
  • ISCP Exercise Plan and After-Action Report
