True Sky Foundation Open Raises Funds for Children’s Miracle Network
Vol.9 Issue 6
The True Sky Foundation Open Golf Tournament took place on August 7, 2023 at Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City

On August 7th, 2023, golfers from around the local area converged on Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City to participate in the True Sky Foundation Open golf tournament. Funds raised from this tournament were used to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. Over the years, True Sky Federal Credit Union has helped this charity many times in golf tournaments, but has also participated in a variety of other fund raising opportunities, like manning phones for their telethon. True Sky Foundation also supports other various financial education opportunities like FAA’s Aviation Career Education (ACE) Camp, and has a scholarship program for high school seniors.

Thanks to the participating golf teams in this year’s True Sky Foundation Open, over $50,000.00 was raised for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Unfortunately, a surprise thunderstorm caused a two-hour delay of game due to lighting. The sudden cool temperatures were a welcome relief to many of the golfers and spectators.

Thankfully the weather did not deter everyone’s spirit of giving. Congratulations to the True Sky Foundation for another successful annual tournament!
