Special thanks to all AFN employees for consistently reporting high completion rates for mandatory training. Currently, there is only one mandatory training course with an upcoming deadline. Please check your eLMS learning profile to complete any required courses. Also, feel free to work ahead and complete courses due later in the year. This will help alleviate having to complete multiple trainings at once.

The agency is transitioning to Blackboard Ultra View, which is shown to be simple, modern, and intuitive. This learning system is ideal for blended training, instructor-led sessions with web-based training, or even web-based training with discussion boards for additional collaboration. Not only are there several trainings available online, but there is a dedicated page on the eLMS and Blackboard Resource Center. The FAA Blackboard Team is always available for personalized tutorials… they can even create an individualized "Sandbox" to see how Blackboard Ultra View can work specifically for you!

The FAA’s Leadership and Learning Institute (FLLI) offers various instructor-led courses for managers to assist and guide them through constantly evolving workforce demands. During the first quarter of FY24, the ability to self-register in eLMS will be open. Be sure all prerequisites are completed before registering for a course.
