MMAC Earns Ranking as a Top Workplace in Oklahoma for Third Consecutive Year
Vol.8 Issue 9
This is an example of a recruitment advertisement used to promote opportunities at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center

For the past three years, Aeronautical Center employees have taken the Energage Top Workplaces Survey, as hosted by The Oklahoman. It measures 15 cultural drivers that are organized using different themes such as: The Basics, The Leader, and Engagement. These drivers are determined by 15 years of research by the vendor. This year, 29,971 employees working for different Oklahoma companies participated in the Energage survey. We are thrilled to report that the MMAC was once again recognized as a Top Workplace in Oklahoma.

AMC organizations showed an improvement in 28 of the 34 questions that were asked.

The ranking of the Aeronautical Center in Top Workplaces moved from #15th to #18th, which may be a result of more large businesses being added to the mix within Oklahoma. The Center’s strategic priorities (4-C’s) of collaboration, communication, cost-effectiveness and culture are helping to drive business forward.

Becoming a Top Workplace signifies that the MMAC has a culture that is dedicated to excellence, and such efforts have become a daily priority in business operations. For several years now, the Aeronautical Center has been focusing on employee engagement. Participating in these surveys determines the effectiveness of the actions that have been taken to drive improvements.

Achieving Top Workplace status also confirms that Aeronautical Center employees are highly motivated toward giving their best at work, are committed to staying in their jobs/industry, and are willing to recruit others to work at the Aeronautical Center.

According to the Academy of Management Journal, it is proven that Top Workplace organizations attract more highly-qualified job applicants and experience lower employee turnover. Research also shows that top workplaces are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results.

There are certain characteristics that Top Workplace companies have in common: they offer employees flexibility and strong benefit packages, they pay fairly, they offer environments where people are encouraged to give their best, feedback from employees is valued, and employee engagement is high.

The Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center is proud to be recognized among such a prestigious conglomerate!

For the 3rd consecutive year, the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center has been recognized as a Top Workplace.
