Causes And Compassion: The MMAC Combined Federal Campaign Kicked Off October 1!
Vol.8 Issue 7

Wherever we are, we can change the world together. The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. The MMAC’s CFC Campaign kicked off on October 1st and our 2022 MMAC goal is $220,000. This year’s campaign chairs are Frank Howard (AFS-43), Jill Witter (AJV-A3), and Debbie Uglean (AMC-3).

Why does the CFC matter? Through the CFC, you can give to vetted charities via payroll deduction. Giving a little each pay period turns into a significant gift at the end of the year, and the collective impact of all of our gifts over the past 60 years is huge; more than $8.6 billion. Just last year, the CFC raised $78 million to help people and communities in need. Each year, you make that happen!

As Center employees begin to resume normal reporting requirements at the Center, this year’s campaign kickoff will be held in person in October (watch your e-mail for more details soon), and campaign chairs anticipate hosting several in-person activities throughout the campaign.

There are currently 45 CFC Campaign volunteers representing various organizations across the Center. If you are interested in volunteering to help make a difference in our community, please reach out to one of the campaign co-chairs.
