The Enterprise Service Center’s (ESC) public information web portal www.esc.gov has recently launched into the cloud. In accordance with the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) Cloud Smart strategy, the Custom Development Services team has embraced the effort to modernize the federal information technology services by utilizing the cloud infrastructure services provided by the Amazon Web Services (AWS). The effort reduces costs for our customers with on-demand delivery, scalability, and pay-per-use of computing and data storage services.

Leading the way, the ESC Custom Development Services team implemented a website on the new cloud platform on March 26, 2021. Since implementation, additional website enhancements have already been achieved to stay in tune with customer business needs. Efforts are underway to provide a service catalog to keep customers aware of the vital services that ESC provides.

The Custom Development Services team offers their customers true innovation, technical expertise, continuous improvement, and state-of-the-art technology solutions. The www.ESC.gov site is the Custom Development Service’s second cloud migration, following the successful move of the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Personnel and Payroll Support website, which was done last year.
