The Enterprise Services Center’s (ESC) Media Solutions Video and eLearning Team, the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute’s Education Division and the Office of Aerospace Medicine’s Internal Substance Abuse Program (ISAP) are celebrating award winning work.
The highly interactive and engaging eLMS course: "Site Coordinator – How to Work a Test List" recently won a Gold Davey Award for Mobile Features, Best User Experience and Silver Davey Award for Mobile Application in Education, from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.
This course teaches drug program coordinators how to work a DOT random drug or alcohol test list. Specifically, how to calculate the window of time and identify eligible employees for testing. It also covers how to properly annotate the test list, identify a proper testing site that safeguards employees’ privacy, and who to contact when problems arise. The FAA eLMS course #30201321 was converted to HTML5 to be mobile-friendly.
The course was designed by CAMI Education and produced by the ESC Media Solutions team. The Office of Aerospace Medicine, Medical Solutions, and Internal Substance Abuse Program provided content expertise and guidance. In addition to the industry awards, the course has been described by learners as one of the best in eLMS and praised by the Office of Aerospace Medicine for serving dual purposes as initial and refresher training.
The Davey Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for the ’Davids’ of creativity, referring to those who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets.
