The role that technology plays in our lives is ever-expanding. In response, the Enterprise Services Center (ESC) continues to enhance IT services and develop new amenities to provide customers with IT business solutions – protecting the infrastructure and data while streamlining business processes:
Enterprise Content Services:
Per the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Mandate M-23-07, transitioning Federal agencies to an electronic environment is a major priority. The Enterprise Content Services, along with ESC’s IT Business Solution is dedicated to records management and has successfully transitioned more than seven million pages of data for their customers.
Cybersecurity:
The Enterprise Services Center’s Cybersecurity efforts continue to meet mandates in moving toward a "zero trust" environment, shifting to a more data-centric approach for security controls between users, systems, and data. According to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in 2023, ESC implemented multifactor authentication for Delphi and ESC PRISM, reaffirming ESC’s commitment to a zero-trust environment and adding an additional layer of security to customers’ accounts and data. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/CISA calculated ESC’s performance as a Cybersecurity Shared Services Provider, resulting in an $11 million cost avoidance in FY23, benefitting the federal enterprise. This calculation was derived using customer feedback from the FY23 DHS/CISA performance evaluation that focuses on quality, on-time delivery, cost-effectiveness, and the cost of ESC’s cybersecurity services compared to similar services provided by industry providers with federal contracts.
National Wireless Program:
The National Wireless Program (NWP) was established to provide unparalleled Telecommunication Expense Management Services and Mobility-as-a-Service to the Federal Aviation Administration. The NWP expanded its customer base to include the Surface Transportation Board in 2023 and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service in 2024. How the federal workforce communicates and stays connected is evolving, as workspaces for teams can now be in different geographical areas. The NWP can assist agencies in managing and simplifying the ever-growing mobile-connected workforce while lowering the total cost of ownership. Additional information on the NWP’s services and points of contact can be found at ESC: National Wireless Program.
