You can register to become a part of the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP). You will connect with other federal employers as well as postsecondary students and recent graduates with disabilities. By conducting informational interviews with WRP applicants, you can exchange feedback and provide guidance to help strengthen candidate applications, creating documents that federal employers will later review, in order to locate potential interns and employees.

As a WRP Recruiter you will be able to:

• Have a personal impact on the hiring of people with disabilities in the federal government.
• Get a first-hand look at highly motivated candidates that your agency can easily hire for internships or full-time employment.
• Build your professional skills by mentoring WRP applicants through informational interviews. As a recruiter, you can advise candidates with diverse academic backgrounds and career interests.

Federal employees can volunteer as WRP Recruiters with permission from their supervisor, and completion of online summer training. Recruiters will conduct 10-12 informational interviews between October 23 and November 15. Sign up today to take advantage of this chance to serve.
