Standard Operating Procedures

Do you have a regular process that has not been documented in the form of a Standard Operating Procedure? Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are a great way to ensure that you follow the agency’s best practices and provide consistency for processes. SOPs range and cover various financial, procurement, and administrative subjects.

To standardize processes within AFN and our Functional Areas, AFN-120 has a host of SOPs, Memorandums of Understanding, and Operating Instructions available in subject areas such as Information & Technology Services, Financial Services, Recognition Awards, In-Position Increases, Length of Service Awards, Reasonable Accommodations, and Records Management, just to name a few. To view the SOPs, please visit AFN Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Orders & Memorandums of Understanding (AFN Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Orders & Memorandums of Understanding (faa.gov)). If you have any questions regarding AFN SOPs, please contact Terri Drake at 9-AFN-120-Process-Standardization@faa.gov.
