The 1st Edition of the 405 Business Magazine just debuted their 2023 version of the Metro’s Most Influential People. More than 200 talented professionals were recognized in this issue. These are individuals who have made a profound impact within the state of Oklahoma. These are people who, through their unwavering determination, have carved defining careers, worthy of recognition. Publisher Kendall Morgan Hammack says, "Our goal is to commemorate their success and ignite conversations and reflections that propel us toward a brighter future. By learning from the achievements, struggles, and journeys of these remarkable individuals, we hope to foster the spirit of determination, inspiration, creativity, and unity that continue to define the essence of Oklahoma."
The FAA was pleased to learn that Erik Salazar, Director of Budget Execution in the Flight Standards Service Organization (AFB-240) was recognized as one of the Metro’s Most Influential People in the Aerospace, Aviation and Energy category. The article gives a snapshot of Erik’s business philosophies and inquiries about his toughest business challenges, as well as his favorite OKC restaurant. As a glimpse into the story, they inquired of Erik what his walk-up or theme song would be when going into his office. Erik replied, "Taylor Swift’s ’Shake it Off.’ I am a huge Taylor Swift fan, and I love the message to just shake off those people who try to bring you down."
