While the majority of Aeronautical Center employees are teleworking, some employees have opted to work in the office a few days a week, or in some cases are continuing to work on the Aeronautical Center. The Office of Facility Management (AMP) in partnership with Aramark, (a contracted food service vendor) have devised a new food service option during these unprecedented times. On July 8th, a new Micro Market opened in the basement of Building 22-ARB (near the tunnel between the Registry Building and the ARB Building).

Located in the former "Java City" location, the Micro Market is operational from 8:30am-3pm on weekdays. The Micro Market takes credit cards-only, and is self-checkout.

Self-Checkout Instructions:

• Select food items and bring them to the display
• Touch the screen to begin
• Scan your barcoded item(s)
• Select any non-barcoded items from the menu and place any weighted items on scale
• Select ’Finish’ and ’Pay’. Choose credit/debit card or mobile pay
• Insert or swipe credit/debit card at reader or scan mobile device at reader. Wait for approval message

For a limited time, an Aramark employee will be on-site to assist with purchases and help with regular sanitizing. Disinfectant wipes, gloves, and sanitizer are available at the location for customers.

Menu items include: cold sandwiches, salads, breakfast croissants, biscuits, burritos, entrees that can be microwaved, chips, snacks, candy, bottled beverages, coffee, and tea.

If you need a quick snack or don’t want to leave the Center for lunch, and would prefer some healthy food options, the Micro Market is now a convenient option for you.
