Join the Oklahoma Airport Operators Association in community partnership with the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission, Tulsa International Airport and BizJet International as we celebrate the state’s second annual Oklahoma Women in Aviation & Aerospace Day, from Noon-1:30pm on December 6th. The event will take place in the BizJet Hangar at Tulsa International Airport. The lunch, reserved for aviation and aerospace enthusiasts, will provide an amazing opportunity to learn more about current Oklahoma general, business, and commercial aviation, the future of our industry, and how we can advocate on behalf of Aviation and Aerospace for young girls and women to pursue aviation interests. Join local officials, dignitaries, and celebrities as you enjoy a catered meal from Freddies, along with live music, and two renowned guest speakers from the Tulsa community, Nan Gaylord and Jennifer Wise. The two trailblazing aviators are FAA Designated, Pilot Examiners who fulfill critical roles in today’s air transportation environment. Their success (in and out of the cockpit) has been recognized by organizations across the United States, and their passion has inspired aviators from all socio and economic backgrounds to pursue their dreams.
