Cartoon Running Paper

Make no fuss about it, employees need access to their own personal reports. Having access to a dynamic source of information helps employees become a better asset to the employer. Having a career plan, knowing what training options are available and keeping track of one’s personal aspirations helps better position an employee for future promotions while enhancing work performance. If an employee holds job certifications, it’s also a means of keeping on track and in compliance.

As an employee moving along your career path, let’s see if you are savvy about your training records:

Once you decide what you want to print, be prepared to identify:

  • Date Range
  • Format (Summary or Detail)
  • Types of training
  • Printed comments
  • Sorting Method

It’s really that simple, and the process allows you to keep a paper trail of your accomplishments. During a time when digital document storing is preferred, there are still times when a printed document has its advantages.
