As part of the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center’s (MMAC) commitment to supporting the community, we are excited to announce our participation in the annual "Feds Feed Families" campaign. Organized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), this initiative aims to combat hunger by providing essential food items to those in need.
We invite the MMAC family to join in this effort by donating non-perishable food items. Your contributions will directly benefit local food banks and pantries and help ensure nutritious meals reach the most vulnerable members of our community.
Donations will be collected through September 25, 2024.
Aeronautical Center employees were also invited to volunteer at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on September 12, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Interested volunteers who may have missed this deadline, please be on the lookout for the following volunteer opportunity!
Monetary donations can be made through MMAC’s My Giving Page: Regional Food Bank Donation Page. The Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center has already collected $290 and is working towards a goal of $500.
For those of you who volunteered on September 12, 2024, or who volunteer in the future, you can also convert your volunteer hours into dollars for the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank by logging your hours through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC Campaign code for the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank is #67922.
Let’s unite to make this year’s "Feds Feed Families" campaign successful and continue MMAC’s legacy of generosity and compassion.
