Anne Sullivan was a gifted teacher of Helen Keller. Helen was blind and deaf, and Anne taught her how to communicate and read Braille. This award is named after these individuals who worked together to illuminate and advocate a pathway for people with disabilities.
The National Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees with Disabilities (NCFAED) welcomes nominations for the annual Keller Sullivan Award. The nomination period is now open through October 4th, 2024. - Provides information and serves as a resource regarding accessibility issues that impact people with disabilities.
- Align internal and external organizations concerning the advancement of people with disabilities to stimulate positive change in the FAA work environment, thereby attracting future generations of employees with disabilities to consider the FAA as an employer.
