Spotlight on the Enterprise Services Center

 The Enterprise Services Center (ESC) the is a division of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and is located on the grounds of the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. The organization and its service areas are comprised of over 800 federal employees and contractors who provide customers with quality products and services that assist agencies in accomplishing their missions.

 ESC Financial Services provides cost-effective ways to integrate and manage accounting needs, from transaction processing to financial statements, to reporting and analysis. Financial Services helps with regulatory compliance, achieving clean audits, and keeping projects on time.

 ESC Information & Digital Services (I&DS) provides a wide array of platforms for managing information. I&DS offers support in numerous areas: Applications Services, Customer Support Services (Service Desk), Managed Digital Services, Cybersecurity Services, Media Solutions, Office Automation Support, Project Management Office, National Wireless Program, and Network/Telecommunication Services.

 Additionally, the ESC Business Office is responsible for the management of new and existing customer agreements, the creation of ESC organization budgets, tracking and reporting the analysis of the budgets, tracking agreements, and fund certification for contracts, travel, equipment, licenses, maintenance, printing, graphics, videos, and supplies.

 The Enterprise Services Center provides vital services to help keep federal agencies operational. As a designated shared service provider, the ESC is able to keep costs competitive due to an economy-of-scale approach.
