ESC Employees Celebrate Return to Remodeled Multi-Purpose Building
Vol.10 Issue 6
Comparing the 1970’s Multi-Purpose Building to the newly remodeled one.

In 2019, all the employees working in the Enterprise Services Center (ESC) temporarily moved out of the Multi-Purpose Building (MPB), Building #24, so that renovation work could begin. The work was completed this year and ESC employees have spent the past few months physically moving back into the building. All ESC services are now housed under one roof, in one building instead of in various locations across the Aeronautical Center.

The newly renovated building has a modern look, both inside and out. The space is functional, and the layout of the workspaces consist of offices, touch-down areas, respite stations, training rooms, conference rooms, and traditional cubicles. Each floor has a breakroom with comfortable sitting areas and appliances available for food prep and storage.

In June, ESC held an open house so that staff members could tour the different areas and become familiar with the building. Employees in each of the respective business areas decorated the spaces in a red, white, and blue theme and celebrated with a shared potluck lunch. Several team-building activities took place. There was fierce competition in a cornhole tournament and a spirited scavenger-hunt bingo game that aided staff in being able to identify different areas within the building.

ESC employees are thrilled with the new building and look forward to enjoying this workspace for many years to come. Having all ESC employees housed in one location helps with collaboration while helping to grow their business service offerings more effectively and efficiently and providing quality support to their existing customers.
