Security and Investigations Division

The Security and Investigations Division (AMC-700) is staffed with Special Agents who conduct Internal Investigations, conduct Facility Security Inspections, manage Personnel Security Adjudications, handle Regulatory Investigations as well as perform liaison duties for all Federal, State, local, tribal and international law enforcement agencies. AMC-700 is a tenant organization reporting directly to the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Security & Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH-2) in Washington D.C. However, AMC-700 also supports the Aeronautical Center Director and serves as the Servicing Security Element (SSE) for Aeronautical Center.

Duplicating any FAA-issued ID is prohibited.

FAA-issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badges that employees and contractors use to access FAA buildings and computers are important to the security of the FAA. Employees, contractors, and other individuals who make photocopies or any other unauthorized replication of federal government-issued identification media compromise the Agency’s security. Additionally, leaving one’s PIV card unattended is a poor security practice, and FAA employees and contractors are required to have their PIV cards on their persons at all times while in FAA facilities.

Employees, contractors, and other individuals who access FAA facilities are reminded that FAA Order 1600.78 prohibits the improper use, counterfeiting, or alteration of PIV badges. Individuals found to have made unauthorized reproduction of FAA identification media may be subject to disciplinary action. Further, under federal law, individuals may also be subject to criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction of FAA identification media.

If you have questions concerning reproduction of FAA identification media or the security of FAA assets, please contact AMC-700 at (405) 954-3212.
