Looking Ahead to the 2024 STEM Year
Vol.10 Issue 1

Did you know that in FY23, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and Aviation Space Education (STEM / AVSED) representatives from across the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center participated in over 30 events, reaching over 20,000 people?

We are gearing up for another record-setting year in 2024 and would love to have your help! There are currently more than 140 STEM / AVSED Outreach Representatives across the Aeronautical Center, and plenty of space for you to get involved. All it requires is supervisory approval, completing the required eLMS training, and downloading and completing the STEM AVSED Outreach Representative Approval form, then giving it to your supervisor. You should receive notification via email within 10-business days making you an official Outreach Representative!

Students get an opportunity to sit in a cockpit during an ACE Academy.
STEM Outreach Representatives host a booth in Tulsa for a Junior Achievement Inspire Event where students interact with educators and industry leaders.
STEM Outreach Representatives participate in Innovation Week held at the Science Museum of Oklahoma.
