Taking time out of her busy schedule, Victoria Wassmer visits with ESC employee, Joe Hausknecht an Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Senior Financial Systems Program Manager.
On Thursday, July 13th, employees of the Aeronautical Center were pleased to welcome back Victoria Wassmer as the Assistant Administrator for the Office of Finance and Management (AFN-001) as she returns from acting in the capacity of Deputy Administrator for the FAA (AOA-002). Christiana Paul (acting as Chief of Staff for AFN-001) accompanied Ms. Wassmer during her visit to the Aeronautical Center. After a brief leadership discussion, Michelle Coppedge, Aeronautical Center Director and Kevin O’Connor, Deputy Director of the Aeronautical Center escorted these guests to designated locations across the Center, including a brief session with James Walker, AFGE Local 2282 President. The day was filled with visiting the Center’s different AFN-related organizations (the Enterprise Services Center, the FAA Logistics Center, and the FAA Academy). Discussions were held with each of the respective leaders about current projects and initiatives occurring in each of the organizations. The Aeronautical Center represents one of five service areas supported by the AFN organization.

After lunch, the AFN executive team visits with Randall Burke, Program Director of the FAA Logistics Center (AML-001), Don Birdwell, Manager of the Logistics Center’s Information Systems Group (AML-040), and Christopher Fry, Program Manager and Team Lead of the Logistic Center’s Program Management Office (AML-044).

The afternoon’s schedule concluded with a visit to the FAA Academy, as AFN Executives met with Sherry Reese, Director of the FAA Academy (AMA-001) and Keith DeBerry, Deputy Director of the FAA Academy (AMA-200).
